An Eagle And Orange Lilly Kind Of Day

It's still a bit chilly around these parts. I sure want to have some warmer weather. It's supposed to get warmer around the middle of the week. But I"m not complaining, The sun is shinning and there's not a cloud in the sky. I am going to go down the river and see if I can find that eagles nest and get a shot of him. I think the nest is down from my house just a few blocks is what I have heard some people say is where he is nesting.
This is a beautiful lily blooming in the park near my house. I just wanted to add a bit of color to my morning. So I thought I would share with you all. Have a most wonderful day.

I love this color on any flower. My lilies are not quite bloomed yet but any day I think.

@rebelann I hope so the leaves are popping out on the trees pretty quickly now so it will be harder to spot.

@Shellyann36 That's wonderful to hear that baby was rescued. So do you know the internet address to that video. I have seen some live videos of nests before, One was a hummingbird nest, and the other was owls it was so amazing to watch live like that.

we're goin' back'n forth with our temps here. 85 degrees yesterday 'n the winds not to fierce. this morn ('tis 2am currently...) the winds're howlin' 'n the temps aint so good. only 'pposed to get to a high've 58 degrees fer the day. danged these cold fronts...
those lilies sure do show off all that green, eh? they jest "pop" 'n that's gotta lighten yer heart'n put a smile'n yer face.
did'ja've any luck with gettin' photos'f the eagles nest? i've gotta get a better zoom lens here jest to get a decent shot'f the hawks 'round here.

@fishtiger58 danged the luck, eh? kinda like the wee hummers - i know they're nestin', e'en come 'cross one'f their tiny abodes e'ery now'n then. otherwise i jest sit'n wonder...'n wishin' i could still climb a tree, lol.
i hear ya'n the heater, the past 2 days've been most chilly here's well. horrible when one's got the need fer the a/c one moment coz 'tis 85 degrees 'n then the next's huntin' fer those quilts that were put 'way. 'n switchin' the a/c fer heat.

I couldn't find the nest, but I have heard it's down the river somewhere near my home. I have seen him many times flying back and forth but can't find the nest. We have had our heat back on for several days now I hate that in May.

@crazyhorseladycx We had a few really warm days but nothing prolonged yet. Been pretty nice the last couple of days and got to turn the heat off. But this morning is was freezing in here and back on went the heat, UGH

I hope you find the eagle's nest. I love the lily. I haven't seen one like it. Today we're supposed to have rain and the clouds are gathering. I don't know when it will start. So the sun is nowhere in sight, but we do have nice temps.

I love the deep orange too. I am trying to find that nest, I think my nephew has a fairly good idea which tree he is nesting in so I will get him to show me hopefully this Friday he will have a minute to show me.

We had our share of rain last week, and they say again later this week, so I'm going to enjoy the sunshine while I can. Thanks glad you like my photo.
