No, I haven't deliver my baby yet, he is still in my womb. My kids were singing lullaby to him who is still inside my body.
It's so sweet to see my two children love the baby brother so much, they have always been talking to him, kissing him, and singing song to him. It's nice to see two of them put their heads or lips on my belly, to hear, kiss or talk to the baby brother.
I would really love to see when they really take care of the baby brother when he joins us later.
Rock-a-bye baby, on the tree top,
when the wind blows, the cradle will rock.
I love you baby, it's time to sleep now,
the moon and the stars are watching you now.
I changed the lyrics for the second part when I sang to my kids as I do not like the original one, so my kids are singing this version to the baby as well.

I guess everyone likes babies.
Actually I think my two children are already behaving well, I would like them to just be kids. But I agree with you, when they know they are big brother and big sister, they will learn how to take care of others better. They can actually take care of themselves too, especially my elder son can really take good care of the younger sister now, while I am sleeping or not available.
Kids grow up really fast.

The first time I made that up was because I totally didn't know the second part of lyrics, I just saw and remembered the first part. I always make up songs for my children whenever I can't think of any songs to sing or can't remember the lyrics. I was quite shock to find out the original lyrics, I wonder why that's considered as a nursery rhyme.

I had mine , 6 years apart, My first , a daughter was so excited to get a brother but after two days of having him home, she was pouting and I asked what was bothering her. Her response was... I thought he would be fun, bit all he does is sleep and he can't play with me...

You're kids are so sweet for loving and caring your baby in your womb. I hope they will take good care of him when he goes out.

Thanks. I am sure they will. My elder son did take care of his little sister when she was born, he also took good care of me as I was still in pain after giving birth, though he was only 3 years old. Now that they are older now, they can take better care of the little one and me too!

I like your version a lot better. No violence in it. How soon are you due?
