I found a website that lists the prettiest location of every state in America. Lists are subjective, but I thought I'd list some of them, and you can tell me if you agree with what they picked in your state, and if you disagree, what would you say IS the prettiest part of your state?
If you don't live in the United States, feel free to tell me what you think is the most beautiful part of your province or country,
I won't list all 50 states, but I'll list states I know where a lot of people on my friend list reside:
Oklahoma, my state: Natural Falls State Park
Arizona: Havasu Falls
California: Pfeiffer Beach State Park
Colorado: Garden of the Gods (I've been there, and I agree it's gorgeous)
Florida: Little Palm Island
Kansas: The Monument Rocks
Kentucky: Cumberland Gap National Historical Park
Louisiana: Avery Island
Mississippi: Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge
New York: Letchworth State Park
Ohio: Marblehead Lighthouse
Pennsylvania: Cherry Springs State Park (from the picture I'd love to go)
Tennessee: Twin Falls
Texas: Hamilton Pool
Virginia: The Devil's Bathtub
West Virginia: Lindy Point
Wisconsin: Apostle Islands Ice Caves
If you want to know your state and I didn't list it, let me know where you live and I'll tell you what the website said was the prettiest part of your state.

I included Florida for you, but couldn't remember which state you lived in although I knew it was close to New York. Gillette Castle State Park is listed for Connecticut, and I have to say reading about it's origin is fascinating to me.

I live just outside of Asheville, North Carolina and I think it is the most beautiful part of the state.

How about NY state. I'll bet it's some place in the Adirondack Mountains.

Or, it could be Niagara Falls, which I've been to many times. I'm only 30 min. from there.

I would suggest The Grand Canyon in Arizona, and to try the glass "walk out" where you can walk out ten feet over the canyon and the glass bridge gives the illusion you're just hovering over the canyon with nothing beneath you. Nowadays, you can also hike down into it as well.

Haven't been to Letchworth since I was a kid so I don't really remember it, but last weekend we were at Niagara Falls, which is in NY and I'd have to say that should be the most beautiful place in the state.

I'm from Arizona, but I haven't been to, Havasu Falls, but now I want to check it out. I really think Sedona is very pretty.

Well something else to add to my day trip list. I see lots of state parks, which goes to show they are still natural treasures.
