Well I Got Them

I had made a pack for myself. When these shoes I ordered got here I would start walking. At night at first. Why? Because the people around here are all foreigners and just stare at you while you are outside. I hate it. They set out and around their homes sometimes during the day and always when I go out. I have not been out since November. So slowly I will try to do this.
I am hoping to get limbered up enough to get on my mountain bike. I love to ride it down the greenbelt along the river. It's been about three or four years since I have. I am that stove up. Can't raise my leg over to mount the bike. That's bad. So, I hope to see some change in this old body of mine. I have arthritis in my right hip and it is very hard for me to get around. I hope to strengthen myself up and help this right hip not be so painful. If I can keep my mood(severe depression) in check I will be doing good. I'm usually better in the summer months so hope I can get with this okay.
Have you set any self awakening goals for yourself this summer? Wish me luck! I'm going to need it.

Good luck on your walks! That is a good start and hopefully it'll be biking next. I heard swimming is good for arthritis for the hip too. Doctors recommended my dad to swim!

Yes, I hadn't thought of Yoga. Thanks. It does a good job of limbering the body and putting everything in the right spot.

I remember when I lived in Imperial Beach, right down at the border in California. I did feel awkward doing anything as I was the only non-Hispanic person in the neighborhood and there were often loud outdoor gatherings at all times of the day. Lots of catcalls etc. as well I hope you do get limbered up and do lots of walking. I find that the garden makes me feel a lot better. A lot of it is being outdoores.

Yes, and I haven't been since November. Social anxiety cuppled with the rest makes it hard. But, I am going to try.

Good luck in achieving your goals. I had set to lose weight and lower my body fat percentage. I haven't been losing weight but my body fat percentage is down to acceptable levels. Might have converted some of these fat into muscles!

I try not to let people scare me so if I wanted to walk I wouldn't care of people were outside looking at me, let 'em look LOL. Good luck with getting into shape.

That would be nice. I used to be that way. With my teeth and such I have gotten some social anxiety going on now. But, I am going to try.

No, it just comes and goes. Especially in the winter. It's just a mixture of pain from it, procrastination and the depression.
