I bought Brussel sprouts at half a price at the farmers market.

Yesterday I found the most beautiful Brussel sprouts at the farmers market. Normally they are expensive and if I had bought them at the super, I would have had to pay a king´s random. But for some reason they had it very cheap there, less than kale which is usually an unexpensive veggie. I got a bag and I stared to fill it. I bought 2 kilos. I will blanch them and freeze them in portions. I love Brussel sprouts. I know that some people love them and others hate them. There is no in between. How is it with you?

I love Brussel sprouts when they are not overcooked.

I am an in between, I eat them when they're in season. It's good to get things cheaper at the farmers market.

We like them, and this year I have just discovered roasted sprouts; just drizzle with a little oil, add some flavouring like chilli or lemon (or both) if you like and pop them in the oven, yum! Also like them stir-fried.
