We have two ISPs here in the apartment. I don't know why the old one was not taken down yet. Accordingly to the caretaker, she and her husband agreed to get the PLDTHOMEDSL because the SmartBro will soon phase out. And since both provider merged, the caretaker decided to get the PLDT with landline.
We still have two connections. The new one is faster with 2.09 mbps. To some countries, 2.09 is super slow.
How is your internet speed in your area?

we are on PLDT and we are just on surfing and no business stuff, that is why we are sometimes anxious why the telecom people often call us for that iPad thingy?

I heard about the iPad offer. The old caretaker took advantage of that.

Yup I agree with this. Even my co-tenants noticed that the PLDT is inconsistent

@JustBhem That is somewhat crappy when the internet provider doesn't know how to fix tech issue.

@jobelbojel Yes, it's not too bad, those who switched to fiber optic internet say that it's a lot faster.

I've read somewhere that US is on top 10 countries with fastest internet connection. Not sure if that changed already.

hi @AkoPinay! May I know how much have you been spending for your globe prepaid? I wonder which is more economical to use: the prepaid one or the unlimited internet connection.

@annierose I prefer GoSurf and spend more or less P1,000/month (GoSurf999 and GoSurf99 before expiry of previous subscription) depends on my activity. I use SuperSurf 999 before but speed is Grrrrrrrr.
