Postman's delight

Janet was saying that the Postman might be wondering how i got so popular with all the wonderful "across the ocean" mail arriving . . . Well to be frank, I have always been a polular girl when it comes to postal items, and my letterbox, or little house that gathers my mail, is a box of surprises.
Some days I get notifications - car licences;
other days I get invitations to glamorous teas;
most days I get fabulous Overseas postcards with the most beautiful stamps!
I am excited to present to you one of the latest received from the United Kingdom . . . New Market, Suffolk!
Snail mail works for me!

It has been such happiness to go out to the mail box these days! Just today I received a beautiful card that traveled across the entire United States from Oregon and another from France-an absolute delightful little card that I am going to write about. Both from postcrossings and both came with return address stickers so I can send them one back! Joy!

@Inlemay We got them in the mail, tons of them. But they all have had my late husbands name on them, not mine until just this month I finally got one with my name! They came from donations to charities but you have to put up with an avalanche of mail daily if you donate so we had to start doing it anonymously but there are three or four die hards that still send me address stickers four years later hoping for more money since they don't know I send it but just don't use checks.
