I Had Another Massage Today

Yes, I had yet another massage today. That's the third one this spring. That tells you just how badly this yo-yoing weather is treating my fibromyalgia riddled body. The massage therapist is hearing all sorts of complaints about aches and pains this summer, and a lot of her patients have fibromyalgia. My insurance company pays for $500 worth of massages a year. That's about one every other month. We're not even half way through the year yet and I've used up more than half of my yearly allotment. I'm either going to have to go without for a few months, or suck it up and pay for it out of pocket. I don't think I can live without them so will probably have to pay for it myself. This is another case of prices going up but payouts standing still. Though my massage therapist did not raise her rates this year, prices DO go up, but the payout amount from insurance companies haven't ever changed. Of course, I might not need massages as often if I had a hot tub. That USED to be covered by health insurance (government) with a doctor's prescription, but I don't think it does anymore. I have a really bad right shoulder. My therapist found the spot today and it hurt like hell. She said she thought it might be tendonitis and proceeded to spray it with a freezing balm. I'm so tired of being in pain. It's been a brutal spring. We have warm weather now but it is accompanied by humidity which doesn't help. And I've had a headache all day today... that's day one. They usually last 3 days. Is it any wonder why this illness is accompanied by depression?
