The slang term often used for money is the word 'Bucks'. Wikipedia says: " The buck part coming from the American slang for their one dollar note." Today is the last day to coin as many bucks, to fill your bank and make the eligible minimum wage earning of 5 bucks, or dollars. The key factor is to write interesting posts, ones that will attract readers. Readers then leave a response, hopefully, and then you should always remember to read the responses and affirm you have read them with a 'like' maybe. It's pretty much a written conversation. Rebuttal is important! Posts of interest are vital, and following the following is essential. This is how we make some Big Bucks . . . Maybe even a dollar today. My photo is of the Namibian Currency the "Dollar" which clearly have many Bucks to their advantage. Money Makes the World go Round! Happy Tuesday folks!

@Inlemay Well, that's why I was opposed to lowering the payout.I think they spread it out over the month more the old way.

It's a bit hard to make that much around here. But every cent counts.

I had forgot that the US 1 dollar is called buck, but now I remember the story behind the nickname. The Canadian 1 dollar coin is called a loonie, because it bears the image of a loon, a bird which is common and well known in Canada.

I don't think will make it to 5 dollars because yesterday I had to go to my uncle's house for a cookout and "help" him clean his house. But I will make it next month.

Those are interesting bank-notes. Maybe I'll do some posts on ours although they're mostly people which are nowhere near as interesting as animals. :)
