Four of my neighbors celebrate their birthdays on June 1st. Makes me wonder if there are no other birthdates available. We don’t have the same age; each representing a different generation. But I would always see a portion of myself in them. Maybe it’s the Gemini trait. One time during our birthday, we swapped plates of food and our families did karaoke together. But there’s also one time when one of us was so broke her family couldn’t prepare anything for her special day. She’s only six. I let her blow the candle on my birthday cake.

I had this co-worker who I was so fond of. She’s light and bubbly and she just couldn’t stop talking. I’m the silent type so we clicked. Then one day, while everyone was checking the newly posted birthday chart in the office, we checked it out together and to our surprise, we found out the reason why we hit it off. June 1st is our natal day.

I liked this guy and he was the apple of my eyes. Using my FBI skills, I found out bits and pieces about him. Like his favorite color and his grandma’s name and his usual sleeping position. I was in cloud 9 and thought we were meant for each other when I knew that we have the same birthday! Ain’t it romantic? Then I learned he had a crush on my brother. Tragic!

In our place, I also had an admirer who has the same birthday with me.
I did not accept him because I don't really like him.
I married another man and he got married too to another woman.
But until now, he really do not forget to greet me on our birthday.

Here in the office, I recently found out that one of our company nurse shares the same birthday as mine.

I looked in a book on famous peoples birthdays and wished I hadn't. Only name in that book for May 6 was Sigmund Freud. I hope that doesn't explain anything about me. Thankfully I can now say I share the same birthday as George Clooney, same year too. I don't think he knows though.
I did have a friend at church who was weirdly all gaga about me when we were teens. Having the same birthday as her ended up making things even weirder. Thankfully she got over it and we were able to have a normal friendship.

I remember I have a classmate in high school who always bullied me because of my mole. He bothers me and make fun of me. One time our teacher announced our birthdays. We have the same Birthday. Then teacher let us blow our cake. Since then we are best of friends. I call him Marco the great and he call me Bhem the short. Haha. Happy Birthday again Sol.

I had one, a classmate in grade school and he is also our neighbor. But my mother said, he was born in the morning and I was born in the afternoon, so, he is still hours older than me.
