Tonights Dinner - Chicken Salad

With today's temperature being up in the 90's today I decided that turning on the stove is out of the question. Fortunately I have salad fixings in the fridge.
I ran to the store and picked up to precooked chicken breasts so I didn't have to heat up the kitchen. Now all I have to do is throw everything in a big bowl and dinner for tonight will be ready;..
I tend to throw everything I can find into my salads. My husband says I throw everything in but the kitchen sink.
So tonight is looks like my salad will contain a mixture of lettuce, slivered carrots, celery, chicken, a touch of sweet onion, tomatoes, green pepper, mushrooms, black olives, shredded 4 cheese Mexican blend cheese, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
It will be delicious. What are you having for dinner?

@LeaPea2417 I know that this is not something that Americans would ever eat. I did not like this specific dish when I was young, I learned to appreciate it in recent years, when all my French friends ordered it at the Restaurant.

When it's warm out like that i do salads, fruit and sandwiches for my dinners. Today it was cool enough so we grilled some steaks and burgers.

@HazySue it's cooler here tonight as it rained and there's a nice breeze so we put steaks and burgers on the grill for dinner.

@Blondie2222 that sounds great. It is still hot and humid here. I'll have to think of something to make for dinner tonight that won't heat up the kitchen or us.

Sounds delicious. We will have chicken tonight for dinner but not in a salad. We will get some mac or some other salad to go with it and some of the wedge potatoes.

@HazySue Right now I'm thinking it will be hamburgers. I don't want anything fancy. It's too hot to really cook, so cooking them on the griddle should be good. It won't heat up the house, even if it is inside. Looks like rain, so not cooking on the grill.
