Baby Bluebird is missing

Mom and dad Bluebird had been very busy bring food to their 5 babies. One was quite a lot larger than the others and I keep saying soon he's going to leave the nest. I was outside and when I came back in there was a lot of action on the front porch. Mom and Dad were on the railing and low and behold baby #1 was on the window screen.
I went out to tell me husband that the big baby was flying...when I got back inside I tapped on the window, baby flew up onto the roof. I had to turn away for a few minutes and when I returned there was all kinds of chirping and flying. Baby Bluebird #1 has disappeared. Mom is going nuts, and Dad has disappeared also. I hope that Dad is following the baby around.
I made my husband drive me around the yard to see if we could spot the baby - but no luck. I would hate to see something happen at this point in time. I also hope she remembers to feed the other 4 still in the nest. Bluebird #2 keeps looking out and I told him/her - stay in the nest it is much safer!
I hope he or she comes back soon, this makes me sad.

They probably will be back. Until they are out of the nest anyway.

Dad came back but no baby and no one is feeding the others. This is why my husband didn't want me to get 'attached'.....

@jaboUK From what I've read they hang around the nesting area for a while , parents teach them how to find food - so I'm not really sure what's going on - they are not here, none of them.

@AbbyGreenhill Well I hope it's because they were all ready to go, so it's a natural course of events.

@AbbyGreenhill - Ms Abby - With folks like you running the "farm" the bluebirds and even the worms will be happy and all will work for the best. (to quote Dr. Panglove from Voltaire's Candide...)

Worms aren't happy with me, we use the to fish - they usually get gobbled up by the fish!

Well I hope baby # 1 finds it's way back so it can get food and not get lost. I'm sure she/he will though

I hope they all survive. Being a bird seems like a high risk life! It is amazing any of them survive.
