Dish You Love To Prepare For Your Guests

It’s my husband’s birthday this coming Monday. Given the choice, I would rather just treat the guests in a restaurant, but my husband wants his birthday to be celebrated at home instead. He is never satisfied with restaurant foods and also he wants a more personal way to entertain our guests.
He told me not to forget fresh spring rolls and Cordon Bleu in the menu. Cordon Bleu is a dish of thinly sliced chicken breast meat, rolled with ham and cheese filling, breaded and pan-fried then sliced and topped up with rich, creamy sauce.
What dish do you love to prepare for your guests?

I also prefer taking someone to a restaurant. It is so much easier.

Both dishes sounds amazing and delicious! Did you make them yourselves too? Usually at parties we buy roasted pig with noodles, vegetables, egg rolls, and some finger foods!

I think that's because your hubby likes your spring roll and Cordon Bleu s much . What better gift you have for your hubby is cooking them for his birthday .
In our early years of marriage i also would cook one or two recipes when it's my husband or daughter's birthday . Now

Advance happy birthday to your husband. Preparing foods at home for a birthday party is appropriate, I think. You can save some amount not like in a restaurant, yes less effort but the taste is lesser compared to what we prepare.

Do you have a recipe for the sauce of cordon bleu?
We usually serve fried chicken, pancit, spaghetti if it's for the kids...
When there are adults, my motyer prepares goat dishes -- pinapaitan, kilawin, caldereta and rice.
