I Feel For My Son...

A couple of days ago, my son got word that a close friend of his was in an accident and was killed. Apparently he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Since my son was really close to him for over 3 years he is going to give the eulogy at the funeral. My son and his finance had a fight with him and apparently never made up with him, so I'm sure his death is really affecting them since they didn't have the time to put their differences aside and become friends again. I just worry that my son, will do something to himself, but hopefully my son will see that's not the way to go as he has 2 children of his own and is going to be step-dad to two other children. His friend was only 32 years old and left a family behind as well as a truck driver and the person responsible for the accident. May they all R.I.P. ~Peace~ photo courtesy of pixabay

Many times our loves ones die and we remember that we should have told them before how much we loved them. But such is life. We must move on. We all have such pains.

Oh, I wouldn't think about your son doing something. Don't even let such thoughts enter your head. I am sorry to hear of the accident. It is a terrible thing.

It is always a sad time when a friend loses their life even if you are on the outs with them it is still hard on you since you never made up with him. How sad there is a family left behind.

I hope your son can find peace. Regrets won't change anything. Instead, take lessons from his experience to make his life better.

So how was his eulogy ? And how is your son now , my friend ? Just tell him to just pray for the soul of his friend so he will not be bothered .

I hope your son finds healing and realizes that the bonds of a three-year friendship are stronger than any disagreement. I'm sure the friend knew deep down, how important he was to your son and vice versa.
