Do you have one of "those" faces? I think I do

By those faces, I mean a face that can bring total strangers to approach and say something like, "Hi, I think I know you from somewhere, but can't place where, ever live in Pennsylvania?"
I have been in a few commercials locally, but nothing lately, so I doubt that a few appearances between news segments would apply. This never happens to my wife or other people I know locally, so I guess I do have one of those faces.
Do you or do you know someone whom many people think they know?

@JudyEv No kidding, that would have been hilariously embarrassing for both.

@JamesHxstatic He got a bit of a shock being asked what was he doing in town. Lucky she didn't immediately hug him! :)

I've been mistaken for Stephen King. One guy was so sure I was King that he demanded to see my ID. Even after showing my ID the guy still couldn't believe I wasn't King. He kept saying, "I know you're Stephen King incognito here researching your next book."

That is really interesting. I just compared your photo with the photo on his book called "On Wrting (a really good book), and there is a striking resemblance.

@JamesHxstatic Yeah, that's what people say. I only wish I had his money. I have a lot of writing books. I think the best book I ever read on writing was How to Write Tales of Horror, Fantasy & Science Fiction, edited by J.N. Williamson. Don't let the title fool you. It has a lot of information that can be used in all types of writing. There are articles written by some of the best like, Ray Bradbury, Dean Koontz and Marion Zimmer Bradley just to name a few. The sad part is it is no longer in print.

No, I am not one of those. I think I am rather unapproachable anyway. Not a real friendly, smiley sort. Depression tends to do that to a person over time.

@JamesHxstatic .....Maybe there is a lighter/darker spot on your shirt where the ID badge usually goes. LOL

I am not always welcoming, but worked in sales and marketing so long, I look approachable I guess.

I get it a lot while I'm working but I think it's just a line that weirdos use when they wanna find out where I live or stuff like that. I never give out my personal information.

@JamesHxstatic I've learned to deal with it. My coworkers and I all get it at work. We just ignore it.

Years ago I went to Maine with my DIL to bring her children to visit their father. Their step-mother asked if I worked in a dental office. I told her no.
Years later, I met my sister for the first time. My mother had given her up for adoption at birth. I was 7 at the time. She lives in Maine and was a dental assistant. Small world.

My husband has that happen to him all the time anywhere we go. Also he must have a sweet face too because whenever someone needs help they always ask him-either money or for a jump start or whatever the case may be. =)
