Still Too Hot

I was on for a little while this morning and almost had my notifications done when everything stopped dead in the water due to the humidity and heat. I will be so glad to move and get into some air conditioning. Even this post is taking some time to write. So it looks like I still can't do anything as the humidity has locked everything and Chip can't handle it.
So I will try to get back yet one more time tonight and make a go at getting caught up with the notifications and see what you are up to.
A very Happy Birthday to @DianneN . I will see what I can do for you regarding your request a few days ago for what happened today in history.

We had a nice cool week last week and now this week is supposed to be hot. Ugh! Now that summer has hit it will probably be hot until mid September here. Ugh!

@just4him ....I learned when I was jogging that focusing on something positive helped me get the jogging done and back home. Like a icy drink or something. In the heat of summer I keep focused on Halloween when I know it will be chilly out.

@celticeagle When I was a lot slimmer than I am now, and a lot younger, I jogged every day before breakfast. I always focused on that breakfast I was going to have when I got home and it went fast.

We have been experiencing hot weather still even it is already June in here. This month is supposed to be a rainy month but so far, we do not have rains. I guess it is because of climate change. I used to go home to eat lunch but now, I prefer to just eat lunch at work so I can avoid the heat on the road.

@just4him I hope so. At present, we are preparing for an earthquake that might hit our country. According to the news, we might experience a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. This morning at 9, we gave students reminders on how they will stay safe during an earthquake. We also performed an earthquake drill and we plan to do it once a month to train the kids.

I see you were able to do DianneN's request so you must have gotten through your notifications as well. So far my day is going well but of courst it is only 10:30 in the morning so I have a lot more of the day to get through. I have caught up on my notifications and sat outside with my dogs for a while a I have been gone a lot the last couple of days and my dogs did want me to sit outside. lol lol

@just4him I can certainly understand that you wouldn't want to put them inuntil after you moved, as you wouldn't get to use it all that long, so you are right to wait until you have settled into your new place and then you can put them in.

@rosekiss Unfortunately as ideal as that sounds, it's so hot here we're going to get them in today. I'll have air conditioning where I'm moving to, so I won't even need the air conditioners. Right now I don't know what I'm going to do with them.

I hope that you are able to find an air conditioned place to go and hang out in to get some relief from the heat. We are having triple digit weather. I will hate to see my electric bill at next month as it too will be in the mid triple digits. I have swamp cooler in the main part of the house going and window air conditioners in 3 of the bedrooms.

I don't know if I would survive in triple digit heat. My computer sure wouldn't. We haven't put in the window air conditioners yet, but probably tomorrow. I hate to think what the utility bill will be for the rest of the summer.

I bought a large 32 inch fan, and man that thing really blows some air. We run fans at night and close it all up during the day while still running fans. We can stay about 10 degrees below the outside temp. Now, this week will be a test though, we will have a 104 degree day. yuck!

We had heat without humidity today, which was good. I don't know how long it will last though.
