We went to an 80th birthday party last night with the ping pong group

Bev, a woman who plays ping pong with a group of us here at our little 55+ community turns 80 today, so we took "heavy " hors' d' oeuvres and wine to one of the houses on the lake and celebrated with about twenty others. There was some wonderful cake and ice cream as well.
Bev is pretty special here since she coordinates the events that take place in the club house. Her husband has drifted into some form of dementia and walks with a cane, but he is still coherent and, until recently, played pool regularly. Bev is very patient with him, even when he is a bit stubborn.
It was a great evening and went on until about 10:30 for some.

People who stay active live longer. Playing ping pong at 80 is quite active.

She is pretty good too. Tom, the song writer, is 80 too and plays tournament ping pong still.

She has played ping pong with you for more than 20 years ,needless to say, she is vey much alive I think.Playing ping pang regularly is a splendid sport that goes a long way towards health.
