We need a good rain. I just read yesterday on the Atlanta news that much of Atlanta and North East Georgia Counties (where we live) are under a severe drought. There is more of a chance for some rain this next Monday and Tuesday (according to the weather channel), I am hoping for a good amount.

The whole area including TN, AL, GA, SC etc are all in a drought. We are almost 8 inches below normal and with the rest of the summer being dryer than normal no way well catch up. We only got 1/2 inch last night but it looks like the next week we have a chance every day of rain/storms. Hope we all get some!

We hit 98 yesterday - this coming week 91 should be the high, that will feel a little better.

1/2 inch of rain barely did anything. With the 4th coming up and the idiots shooting off fireworks I worry about dry weeds/grass. I'll be happier with more rain.

We had no measurable rain in more than 3 weeks...so the little over 1/2 inch was welcomed.
