The Wind Changed Tonight

The hay on the old football field had to be harvested and a certain group or family did it. In addition they are using the field to dry grain. I do not understand it all but it made sense to hubby.
All day yesterday, and today, there has been at least one, or two guys staying with the equipment and sitting in the trucks. They are chain smokers.
Not a problem, they are across the road from me. It is their privilege to smoke.
The wind changed sometime in the last hour, and my windows are open. My home now smells of cigarette smoke. Not my favorite thing.

I think they are gone for the night now, and would not do any differently as they are parked under the only shade on the field. We will be gone most of tomorrow even if the wind does blow this way.

It is amazing how far the smell can travel sometimes. I wouldn't like my home to be smelling of smoke but I guess it will dissipate soon.
