I have a feeling that all the postcard sending might just be keeping the snail mail and the existence of stamps very much alive, and what a wonderful thought that is.
Greetings have arrived from Wisconsin.
Yesterday my mailbox, which is only ten meters from my front door, delivered some wonderful greetings from Valarie. My first from the precious lady that brings us a prayer and blessing each day.
The amazing thing is, this card was touched by Valerie herself, her pen, her efforts and now held by me, for my eyes to see.
Hand to hand . . . With the help of the post.
Just fabulous. @just4him my hubby loved the wildlife picture of the Bald Eagle nest especially.
Love the stamp. Round stamps always fascinate me.
I am loving all the postcrossing. . . Like a magic Card ride through the world.

That's great! I'm glad it arrived. I'm just wondering if Val-a-rie is the way it's spelled in South Africa. I keep seeing it spelled that way and just wondered as my name has an e in it.
I think I'm going to wait until I move before sending out the next postcrossing postcard. I don't want them coming to the wrong address.
