Hubby has to work today, but today is my first day of vacation.
Although I had hoped to make it to the beach, we had to put that thought aside for now. Funds are really tight.
I counted up our saved change and was happy to find we had about $120 in our stash. This will be used to purchase more wood that is needed to finish the ceilings in our new place.
I am applying for a couple of jobs today. Hoping that at least one will pan out. I am really becoming burned out from the job I have. When that starts happening, you know it is time.
We are going to take the boat out on one of our local lakes perhaps this weekend or sometime next week. Both of us are looking forward to a little r&r. We have earned it.
My daughter is helping today with the cleaning of the new place. I am too short to reach the spots that are high up. My eldest daughter will be watching my granddaughter while we clean. However, I will be happy to hold/chase her for a little bit too.
The car needs to be inspected. Hoping that my hubby will do that task when he gets off work today. I hate garages. Guess I have auto mechanic phobia. LOL.
Not sure I'll be around MyLot much this next week. It will be a busy week for us.

So far all we have done is work on the trailer. My daughter backed out of helping,so I am on my own where the kitchen is concerned. My SIL said she would come over on Monday and Tuesday to help me out. I should be pretty much done with the cupboards today.

@just4him the cupboards are done! Yay me. I have been bringing my kitchen items to the new place. Finding space is becoming a problem. Once everything is there I will then be selective as to what I will keep.

I had to go back to work today. It wasn't easy to get up at 6:00! With so much work to do and little time to do it in, I have to push myself.

Truly doubt we will be able to get to the lake anytime soon. We truly are overwhelmed with the repairs this new place needs.

@LadyDuck we are doing it a little at a time. There will be projects to keep us busy right through to wintertime. Have to save some money to purchase the materials for them.

I drop in from time to time. The work is coming along at a steady pace. I of course am exhausted at days end.
Vacation was over as of Friday. Had to work the weekend. Next day off is Friday. I'll have a 3 day weekend, but it will be busy for me. We will have to move everything by Sunday evening.

We have started to fill up the container again. Hoping to keep each coin separate. It took the two of us at least a half hour to sort them out.

Our landlord asked if it would be possible for us to be out in 2 weeks. She has someone that is interested in the rental. Not really sure that is going to be possible. We will know better by the end of the week.

The job hunting is a slow process. Not many things out there that I am interested in. I my put my name in at our local Stewart's shop. If I can pick my own hours and not have weekends that would be lovely.

We have a 16 foot aluminum row boat that has an motor too. We don't go out on the bigger lakes. He would like to though. Not for me! We may not be able to go this week. Trying to get the repairs done so we can move in sooner.

Hope you get to spend some time on the lake for some R&R. It's nice that your daughter is willing to help with cleaning the spots you can't reach but I know you'll squeeze in some time to play with your granddaughter.

My daughter backed out. Although my SIL is volunteering to help out, the cupboards will be done today. The major task of cleaning the stove and refrigerator have been done.
Not certain we will be able to get out and enjoy ourselves. By the time we finish working at the trailer, we are beat and just want to crash.
