I told you before how I rescued a baby bird from my cat. I didn't expect it to live, but I've had it for three days now, and it's eating like a pig. I feed it kitten chow soaked in water, meal worms and chopped boiled eggs. I'm trying to catch some bugs for it to eat, but I haven't been that successful with that yet.
I think it's a baby House Wren. I call it Vic (for Victor or Victoria). If he makes it through all of this, it will be quite a feat. He can flutter from perch to perch now, but he shows no interest in food on the floor of his cage. He only eats what I give him.

@crazyhorseladycx He's flying now, and living outside. He still comes back to eat though.

According to what I have read, if it is a House Wren, as I suspect, it is only 18 days from hatching to flying away. I have had my baby bird for four days, and he already had feathers when I got him. So, I am thinking the time for him to fly away is not too far.
