So used to my CPAP mask that I didn't think it was on

Sometimes in the middle of the night I wake up and my CPAP mask (for sleep apnea) is off. This tends to happen more often if I've had a couple of drinks but it does happen on regular nights as well. I must push it off in my sleep. Early this morning, at about 3:30am, I woke up and was just laying in bed. All of a sudden I thought to myself "crap, I pushed the darn mask off again". Then I felt my face and it was right there all along totally in place. I'm so used to it and it is so comfortable that I don't even notice it any longer. I mean I didn't even feel it on my face! That is crazy! Just one more example for people who are leery about getting tested for sleep apnea. The CPAP machine/mask is not something to be afraid of. You really do get used to it. Look at me! haha

I'm sure I've mentioned before that I have several friends who swear by their CPAP masks.
