Can someone be President if they can't have a Security Clearance?

Among the many interesting things the FBI Director had to say today when questioned by Congress was that a Federal Employee who had treated classified information the way the Secretary of State Clinton had would not only be reprimanded, but could possibly loose their job, and would no longer be eligible for a Top Secret or higher security clearance.
If all that is true, and she does get elected, how will she be able to do her job if she doesn't have a security clearance?
Oh, yeah, I forgot. The rules and laws of our country don't apply if your name is Hillary Clinton.

There is not one chance in Hades that a nominee for President will be denied classified info. I would much rather have her, despite her "carelessness" with that info than the manical whacko Republican nominee, the Donald, who might just tweet it our for the world too see. Remember that Colin Powell had a private email as well.

@JamesHxstatic And Hillary will never be mine. She is evil incarnate. She gets a pass on too much and there are too many bodies in her wake.

@DWDavis Realistically speaking, there is no third choice. One of these two will guide the country for the next four years or more. I am comfortable with Hillary being able to hold her own in the world for us.. Trump will never be "my" President, any more than W was.

You stated my comment in your post. Agree with you 100%. This entire election for both sides is turning into a farce and mockery that unfortunately some of us are going to pay dearly for.

@DWDavis The electoral college will go Clinton. She needs not win the majority of states or popular vote to attain the White House. She already has the 2 biggest electoral college votes in California and New York locked up plus Oregon, Illinois, Washington. Puerto Rico, DC, all New England states, Arkansas and Hawaii. That's why in a few years it will be a one party system in which factions of the Democratic Party will compete for the prize. Imagine a November election when it's Clinton or Bernie. That's the future.
The electoral college is bad in my opinion because it is winner take all. If Clinton wins by just a single vote in California, she gets all the electoral college votes. What would be fairer is proportional electoral college voting meaning a Republican could walk away with some electoral college votes which would be a more accurate reflection on how the people voted.

Ah, bless you, America! I don't understand American politics but I know your future currently looks bleak with regard to the choices you need to make later in the year.

I think the FBI Director really believes he made the best decision. Unfortunately he set a new standard for what defines criminal activity that defense attorneys are going to love. Unless the the prosecutor can prove the person "intended" to commit the crime, then there can be no charges laid.

This would be great comedy if it wasn't real.

I pray that dishonest Hillary doesn't win it in November.

This is a good point that I have no problem with. I agree with this point of view. Clearly, Hillary is on her way out. I would think the majority of voters will see it the same way.

I've always heard 1/3 of the voters will vote Democrat even if Satan himself is a the top of the ticket. Ditto for 1/3 who will vote Republican no matter what. It's us 1/3 in the middle that make the difference. If we'd all vote Libertarian this time around, wouldn't that be fun.
