Rainy day and my cravings.

Rain and cold weather, what best for this kind of day? Sleep and eat. But i didn't sleep, instead, spent my time in the kitchen, thinking what to eat. I wanted a soup.dish, so i cooked "sinigang"--a sour soup.dish, this time with pork. With few.string beans, taro root(gabi), and have a chili, perfect for my cravings. A complete meal. Sour, spicy(a bit) and savory--the right taste.for this weather. Yummy! Do you have any dish that is best during rainy days?

I like crisp. spicy finger foods on rainy days.. but I don't indulge myself.. I try to keep away from fried stuff.

Hi Reine, That looks delicious and probably not the best thing since I'm trying to diet. Please note the word trying... I hear and feel you about the weather today. Everything is so gloomy and dark and it's lazy to go out. even if its a weekend. For me, nothing beats lomi or guisado on a raany day. I do love broth soups like sinigang but the lazy me sometimes doesn't bother to cook...hehehehe Hope you enjoy your dish and it reminds me to order some lomi for good measure

Sinigang is perfect for rainy days. But what I crave during rainy and stormy days is champorado, chocolate porridge with tuyo or dilis
