It's Done!

I've been home an hour from my wisdom teeth surgery! Yay, all done. I had a few moments of panic while they were getting me ready but beyond that, it was a breeze. I popped right awake when the surgery was done and don't even feel tired. We will see how long that lasts though as I was given Percocet for pain relief. My face is very numb right now from all the numbing injections so I'm only feeling some aching. The doctor wanted me to take steroids for the swelling being near nerves but since I also have bipolar disorder, I'm not going to be able to take those due to a bad reaction. So, it's all over!

Glad it went well! I think I only took pain killers for the first day, and had a good recovery- just numb, swollen and a lot of bruising. Hope you a speedy recovery!

The pain they were causing got bad really quick...I also met a surgeon who offered me a surgery date 5 days after the consultation so I was able to squeeze it in before things get crazy.

Glad to hear it went well! Ah, yeah, I remember when I got mine out when I was 15 or 16, so much swelling. But the pills really helped!

that's the main part that it's over with. I had to be sedated the last time. I wish you a very speedy recovery.
