The weather forecast said to stay home if at all possible, so I did. Where I had intended to go would have had me driving through some low lying areas, for sure.

I am so glad you listened to the forecast and stayed home you sure don't need to be driving through low lying areas in that type of weather.

Some last night, some this morning. SB is not doing as well for me today. I am going to look for an online app for the job I want to look at. How are you doing? I will go look for another post from you.

I hope someday I live in a town with a community garden

Hope your job hunting goes well even though it wasn't your first choice of things to do today

Due to high amounts of wind and rain, I am going to see if this job I am interested in is online. The application site is in a lower lying area than I want to brave today.

I know, it is all part of the natural cycle. I really enjoy rain when I am not out in it.

I think in my area we are raising mosquitoes.

@GardenGerty We don't just raise them. During the summer we are in full scale production. Show me any mosquito solution I can remotely afford and I'll show you why it will be completely inadequate in face of our mosquito clouds.

@koopharper I just put on my personal protection gear. I know my first trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in July I was in a store shopping for a flannel night gown, but was really tempted by the T shirts that declared the mosquito to be the state bird.
