My husband had a lawn to cut yesterday so he put the lawnmower in the back of the van. A police officer stopped at the same store as him after he was being followed for a little while.
My husband thought he was getting pulled over or something. The police officer got out of his car and came up to my husband. He asked him if he cuts yards a lot because he see's him around town a lot with the mowers in the van. My husband said I cut yards and do remodeling. The officer told my husband he needs some work done at his house and he wants my husband to do it! Lol.
The officer left his name and number with my husband to get an estimate done. Thank God it was a job and not a ticket that he got!

I am glad for that. I was once stopped when a back light wasn't working and the officer had followed me for miles really made me nervous. But just gave me a ticket to have it repaired within so many hours.

It was good not to get a traffic violation ticket from the officer, but it was twice as good to be offered the possibility to earn money from some work.

A police officer following me around and approaching me will make me shake in my boots! I will go through million things in my head that I did wrong on accident.

Well glad it was just another job offer to do work and not a ticket. I've never seen officers do that before but i'm sure your hubby is happy.

good if he can get jobs like that as here the police often use the same tradespeople so your hubby could pick up lots more work.

That's always a relief. I remember cycling to work in the middle of the winter here when an officer rolled down his window at a stoplight just to chat until it turned green.
