I don't know what your weather has been like where you are, but here in Wisconsin, USA where we are on the border with Canada, and temps should at least be cooler than the southern states this time of year, we are hitting 90's and a heat index over 100. Yesterday was 108 with the heat index. We got up to 94F.
This next week we are still in the high 80's and 90's and only one day with possible showers in the morning. So the humidity will be high along with the heat index for the next 10 days.
If you know me, you know what I'm wishing for, and it couldn't come soon enough. I look forward to those little white snowflakes every year. For now though it's hot, humid, and the heat index is unbearable.
And if anybody thought we were going to cool off with fall, the outlook is not looking fallish, more warmer than usual weather is predicted all over the US. So it looks like those snowflakes are going to wait until next year. I hope not. I do want a white Christmas. But that's not the way the weather is shaping up, and it's all because the climate is changing.
Oh well. So what is the weather like where you are. Are you broiling with the heat or are you on the cooler side. I know our friends down under are cooler this time of year and yes, I do envy your cooler weather.
Thanks for reading.

I'm glad you were able to stay in. I did go out, it was hot, but also had a slight breeze making it bearable.

I'm glad your humidity is down. That makes all the difference.

@just4him Today is just slightly warmer and we haven't lit the fire yet. I'd rather have cold than hot. When we visited Egypt you would leave the hotel and it felt like walking into a wall of heat. It was hard to breathe there too so I understand what you are saying.

Hot it is and expected to stay hot here with little relief and next week the pop up showers may not come about/ Grateful for central air conditioning from the heat pump that almost doesn't stop. Bet you are looking forward to your new place with a better cooling system

I am, though it's still an air conditioner, it's better placed to cool the entire apartment.

It's stifling today. I almost didn't go anywhere, but I would never willingly stay home from church. I had all the windows open in the car since the a/c isn't working like it should.
