My goodness but it is humid this morning. The temperature is only 75 degrees which isn't bad but the humidity is so high that you start sweating as soon as you walk out the door. And this is at 4:39am in the morning. I hate to see what it's going to be this afternoon. We did have some summer showers yesterday afternoon and on Monday also. I was so hoping that it would cool things off but it only made it more humid. I know it's not even August yet but I am so looking forward to the cool weather of Fall. Is it hot and humid where you are? What kind of things are you doing to cool off?

We don't have that problem here. We have had some gentle rain this morning and now everything is fresh, though not cold. I hope you get some relief from the humidity soon.

It is a little bit better this morning. We had some storms roll in last night that helped some. It's supposed to rain off and on today. You are so lucky not to have the humidity.

It was very hot and humid yesterday, I had guests for dinner and I was exhausted by the time they arrived. During the night we had rain and thunderstorms, today is still humid, but not so hot.

That's good that you had a little bit of relief. We had some rain also that made it a little cooler but then once the sun came out, so did the humidity.

I just came in from hanging clothes on the line and commented that it's like a desert out there. Actually it's probably not as I don't think there is the humidity in the desert.

I lived in Vegas for 5 years and no, there is no humidity there. It's like walking out into an oven. I don't know which is worse.

Oh yes, it is always hot and humid here in our part of the Philippines since summer started last March .

So, i always would drink a glass of so cold water and that cools me . And i see to it that i have a handkerchief to wipe my sweat .

Sorry it is so humid where you are..it has been here only in the afternoons but it is unusual. The storms have been coming late in the afternoons. I just put fans on here my friend...i have ac but cant put it on much due to smokers downstairs and smell rises up

When it rains here, it is kind of 'iffy' about it getting cooler. Sometimes it does cool things off and other times it only makes it more humid.

Fortunately the UK is not that humid although last week it was a bit humid. I hope that you can find something to cool you down and keep cool. Have a nice cold ice lolly!

I had to wear a sweatshirt over my t-shirt and shorts this morning. I'm sure it will get more humid as the day continues. I keep the a/c on continuously. I have to go out this afternoon, so I'll put the top down on the convertible and the a/c on if I need to. Stay cool!

We have the a/c on all the time too. If not, we wouldn't be able to breathe. When it is this humid, I try and stay inside as much as possible.

@ElicBxn When we lived in Vegas, we didn't get really cold either. We did have some days/nights that were pretty cold but it never stayed that way for long.

Humidity could dehydrate you very quickly drink lots of fluids and try to stay inside.

Not doing much to cool off. If peolpe had working hoses around their homes we've talked about using them to spray ourselves off when working in the hotter weather. It's that humid around here too before nine am many days but when the sun comes out the humidity levels drop quite a bit. It's still humid and hot but not quite that bad. Today it's staying around 78 by mid-afternoon, but with the barely there clouds, it's still pretty hot.
