Why does organic milk last longer than regular milk?

When I was in the dairy department looking at milk I noticed that organic milk had a much longer expiration date than regular milk. (Or perhaps it is sell-by date?) At any rate, why is that? Why does organic milk last longer than regular milk when unopened? That just doesn't make any sense... Any thoughts? And what really makes milk organic?

I've no idea.
What I buy now isn't regular or organic but it is more filtered and lasts longer.
It's not long life milk but tastes just the same as normal milk but more bacteria has been removed to stop it going off as quickly.
I don't understand why organic milk should last longer than normal milk.

found this
"Organic milk lasts longer because producers use a different process to preserve it. According to the Northeast Organic Dairy Producers Alliance, the milk needs to stay fresh longer because organic products often have to travel farther to reach store shelves since it is not produced throughout the country."

The ingredients like organic cows or sheep or even almonds. Maybe it tastes better. But I prefer banana milk, or any vanilla or nut milk.
