Good morning. What a morning this has been.
Daughter call to say that she cannot get the car started.
Why?the wheel is locked etc.I went over and yes I could not get it unlocked.
I jerk the steering wheel and no luck. Not sure what the problem is.
She calling the Kia people to find out what to do.She needs a car for work.
Insurance will cover some of the rental if she needs one.
Too early in the morning for all this drama. Is this fun?

Nothing worse than starting the day with automotive headaches.

Hope you can get the car working. The mechanics will surely find out what the problem with the car is.

Other than jimmying the steering column with a screwdriver, I got nothing.

Maybe someone hacked the car. Never know with how computerized cars are nowadays.
Hope you guys get it fixed.

Gee I hope the steering problem was resolved. Usually a hard tug works but I guess it's something more serious.

Sometimes twisting the key back and forth in the ignition very slightly while twisting on the steering wheel works. My uncle used to have a Kia and I had that problem when I borrowed it sometimes.
