Yesterday Was A Great Day

Yesterday was a great day for me. As stated in my previous post, I have decided to go back to school and earn a bachelor degree online in Creative Writing. I called the college, spoke to the rep and got all the info I needed. She then took my application over the phone, sent me an email with a link for financial aid application and I completed that as well. I should know something within 3 days regarding the financial aid. I am keeping fingers crossed and saying prayers that it all goes through as the next semester starts August 22nd. The picture above is from Pixabay and not my own but it shows what has been going on lately outside our balcony. The squirrels have been all over this huge tree eating some kind of berries. The tree is either an acorn tree or pecan...not sure which. I have been amused watching them hang upside down and getting themselves in so many precarious positions where I thought they would fall. But they are so agile and are always able to get themselves back on top. Squirrels are amazing little creatures and provide a lot of entertainment. I hope today is as great as yesterday was. My brother has a lot of errands to run and also has to work for a while before he goes out of town on Monday. I will miss him but he will only be away for three days so that isn't too bad. I hope everyone has a wonderful day today and if it's hot where you live, please try and keep yourself cool and hydrated.
