I Don't Have Time For THIS!!

I have been on myLot for about an hour and I was able to comment on two people's posts and return a comment or two. I finally got the computer to shut down and reboot but...... SLOW MYLOT WON'T LET ME PLAY.
I can't stand the frustration of not being able to move around myLot seamlessly. It used to be that way, but not now.
Every day just getting here is a stressful event and staying here is impossible.
My son will be home today so I will have him look at what happens on myLot only but I think its a waste of time. He is going to show me AGAIN that myLot is the only site that I use that spins its wheels and never gets anywhere.
I have painting to do today so I will head to my studio and listen to a book while painting.
I feel lost and sad that myLot will not let me play.
The photo above is a photo I took years ago in Grimsby, Ontario of Toronto across the lake. Right now that grainy foggy city in the distance is myLot to me...
I will not give up but I also can't throw away my precious time.
So off to make some real money but I will miss my myLot friends. You all are priceless.

There must be something going on with my internet services. I use a few. When one doesn't work fast enough, I switch to another. I know how frustrating it can be, and I hope your son can help. I loved the city of Toronto. We vacationed there for a week several years ago. Great food, shopping, and live theater!

My only choices is my Mac and my iPad. The iPad is just too small for my eyes, although I haven't been using it for mylot since I got home. Not a bad idea when the Mac stops doing what it should be doing.

Perhaps @mylotbugs can help with this issue, it happens to me every day so I don't spend a lot of time here if it won't let me play ...... there are other sites that require due diligence where I also earn a little.

Do you have an adblocker installed? If I dont use one I get the same thing happening Paints.

@PainsOnSlate i've nary a clue neither, hon. 'd all sorts'f oddities tryin' to be'n here last eve. pages'd not load 'n when they did, reminded me'f when 'that other place' 'd do'n update. couldn't like nor respond neither. i ran malwarebytes 'n 't found 9 'pups' 'n slapped 'em 'nto quarantine. that solved the trouble. the nice folks here though ensure me that they aint comin' from here....

I had a problem with mylot and ONLY mylot. It was slow and jerky and was driving me crazy.
Someone here mentioned AdBlock Plus so I downloaded it for free and since then, mylot has been a wonderful place to hang out. No more stress!!
Sheesh, I feel like a commercial.
Anyway, if you don't have it I'd suggest trying it.

@PainsOnSlate I know you are waiting for your son to do the research, but you can give him this link and see what he thinks. It is AdBlock for Safari. It is freeware.
I use AdBlock for Chrome, myself. I have since it was first developed. I hope this helps!

@DaddyEvil I am using firefox not safari for mylot and Facebook, actually most of my internet including email... My iPad is safari only.

@inertia4 Interesting, we used to have our internet attached to our phone/TV and it was awful. We like the satellite for TV and internet, ( except when its stormy, like today. The internet is still good but the TV has shut down...will be interesting to see what happens in the future....Right now the internet is good.

@PainsOnSlate I have Directv for my TV service. But I have Optimum for my high speed internet. It never goes out. And I havent had a problem in years now.

So, since this is the 13th I am guessing your son had already checked out your Apple product and done whatever it needed to speed it back up again, pains?
What did he determine was the problem, if you don't mind me asking?
I am glad you kept trying to get here to talk with us, even while your pc was having problems!

@PainsOnSlate I honestly don't know if the site is better for anyone else. Since I have AdBlock running along with Ghostery, I don't have problems anymore and haven't for quite some time. I only find out about someone having a problem when they holler at me to see if I can fix it.

Something is working now and I don't have a problem anymore. Have no idea why but I did get a lot of painting done and earned over a thousand dollars last month. That was a huge number for me.

Its magic, some days it doesn't work and today everything is fine... No reason or rhyme.
