not an apple ...

It's time I stopped eating. Well, not completely, of course. I don't want to die! But it is time to get myself back into eating foodstuffs which have some similarities to health and wellbeing. Having spent the best part of last year following the Dukan Diet {very successfully} I then came to an abrupt stop. Bread was rediscovered and oh my good giddy aunt it was amazingly scrummy ... Mmmm ... However, Bread makes me fat, the cheeky rascal. So, I'm going to have to part ways with him. I'm not keen on returning to the Dukan Diet so Mumsy brought me a list of foods I can eat on Weight Watchers. VEGETABLES! Oh, I love vegetables, yet they're not a necessity with Dukan. And fruit is an absolute NO! NO! I stocked up on grapes and apples and when Tummy made a rumbling sound this morning, and begged me for food, I fed her {Tummy is a girl, definitely} an apple. An actual apple. Round, red{-ish} and crispy. The juice ran down my chin. I haven't had an apple for an eternity, if an eternity is about a year long. It was divine. It was bliss. It was AMAZING! Honestly, who knew I could ever gush so much about fruit?! You know, I might even have another one later. With grapes. Hark at me!

I follow the Scarsdale diet every time that I need to lose a few pounds. Fruits and vegetables are allowed. They even suggest to eat only fruits for lunch. I am eating apples almost every day from about two weeks, but I am glad I have lost the 4 Kg that I wanted to shred.

@Poppylicious The Scarsedale diet was very popular at the mid of the 70's, then it was criticized because of the too many proteins, but if you decide to have fruits at every lunch it's a very good balanced diet. I never follow the diets exactly as they are, I try to use common sense.

I just joined Weight Watchers online this morning as I stepped on the scale and found out that I've gained a bit of weight over the summer. I do love fruits and veggies too and my goal this afternoon is to go out and buy some fresh fruit and I have watermelon on my mind Enjoy your fruit

Both Dukan and Atkins exclude them. Vegetables are limited too.
