~One Year Ago~

As I think about this month last year I get mixed emotions, joy and sadness. Sadness comes into play because we were homeless (living in a motel room) and hungry some days until we found our church. The church brought us food every single day and we were so grateful to eat. My husband was out of work at the time due to a broken ankle and I was pregnant so no one would hire me. It was a rough time... It brings joy because we did find an amazing church for our family. And also-we have come a LONG way from then! We have a home now and a mini van that we did not have just one year ago. We are eating now-buying our own food and not needing help all the time. God brought us from being homeless basically, living in a motel room with 3 kids and one on the way to where we are now! If you weren't feeling grateful today-think about where you were and where you are now...

God sees His people through. Adversity comes but we overcome. Just believing that we will is a start. Glad to hear that there was a turn around.

Wow, that must have been so hard. It's wonderful you found that church, sometimes all a person needs is just a hand up. Cool that you got a mini van, too.

I realized now that I'm lucky thanks to my grandma and my mom who worked hard to get to where I am today.

My husband and I worked a lot of years for what we had. But I am very grateful that I was able to cook and clean my house and work. I am grateful for everything that we have. God will see you through anything. Take care.
