Class Reunion Today

Today is my 45th class reunion from high school. That is my senior picture above.
Members of the class worked on a float for the Fireman's picnic parade taking place as I write this. This afternoon there will be the Fireman's picnic in the park, and then the class reunion actually begins at 4 this afternoon until 7:30.
I had thought to be at the parade, but with the beating my knee took yesterday in the aerobic class, I opted to wait until 4 PM and just go to the reunion itself. It would be too much for me to try to get on the float, or walk around the park this afternoon.
So I will be leaving around 3 PM. I have my camera in my purse ready to go, and for this occasion, I will even wear make-up, which I unpacked this morning, so I could find it easy enough later.
Until then I will interact with you and hopefully clear out my notifications. Right now it's even doable for the first time in over a week.
I also dropped my son at the airport this morning around 4 AM. He will be back next Saturday.

hope ya got yerself a nap today, hon. otherwise yer gonna be plum tuckered by the time that reunion 'tis o'er. sad to hear 'f yer knee 'n hope that'cha take care with 't.
this fine saturday i spent time outdoors 's the o'ercast skies 'n cooler breeze made such pleasant. messed with my boys some (mustangs), piddled 'round the garden 'n my lil sanctuary. 'n sewed...

@just4him yes ma'am 'n yer welcome :) 've ya tried makin' a pack with epsom salts fer yer knee? 'r puttin' a rag soaked with witch hazel to help ease yer pain, hon?

Thank you for the compliment. I can't do the aerobics, too painful for my knee, so I'm just swimming for about two hours.

Sadly you happened to have a problem with your knee,hope it is nothing serious!It sounds that you have class reunion once a year.

We have class reunions every 5 years. I have bad arthritis in both knees. The one giving me most of the problem right now is the left and also the leg I had broken a year ago. I had broken it just below the knee, so that could be a factor in why it's so painful right now, or it could just be the heat combined with all that I'm doing with getting packed and moving.

@just4him we say that pretty much every day here how fast time is flying by and how short life really is. It's a good wake-up call to stop and smell the coffee (or is it roses

@just4him yes, and it is already making me so irritated in making these questions because i had to select items that are actually learned by the students in school, and which their skills are practiced in the area. not exciting at all.
