Cheeseburgers in Paradise!

Wiz keeps mentioning burgers and darn him, he made me hungry for one. So I'm making cheeseburgers tonight for dinner, and yes we live in Paradise. I put Lipton's dry onion soup mix in the burgers to give them flavor. A little water for moistness. We like them medium rare. And melt cheddar cheese on the bun. I butter the buns and put a little garlic salt on one side of the bun.(PS. My buns are toasted.)
THEN of course I put the trimmings on mine, pickle slices and mustard for me. Occasionally tomato. My mother likes Thousand Island dressing on hers. Kind of like one of those "secret sauce" things restaurants used to do, I guess.

We'll probably both drink milk. I add a little water to the burger mixture to make them juicier.

Oh my! that sounds mouth watering burger! .. I will have that with a glass of shiraz please ..lol .. I feel hungry all of a sudden..

Now that's interesting. What goes in the sauce? I used to make some we put on fish with mayo, pickle relish and mustard

@CinnamonGrl The tartar sauce is made with mayo and chopped parsley, pickles and capers.

That's why I make ours. I did have a very good burger at Black Bear Diner a couple weeks ago though, when my friends were visiting

I think you just make me hungry with what you wrote, I ate only the cheese urger in our local stores, and at McDonalds, but when I am with y family jollibee's cheese burger is the best.

@CinnamonGrl making your own is much healthier. I live in a country where burgers are can be eaten and bought in a restaurant.... Hehehehe that is why mcdonalds and jollibee are earning much the their burgers..lol!

Sometimes I put onions, tonight I think I'll skip them though because there's onion inside the burger this way

I don't think there's ever been a burger I met that I didn't like! I'll try my burger with just about any kind of topping or condiment!
By the way, earlier today I was listening to Jimmy Buffet, including his song "Cheeseburger in Paradise!"

Sounds good. I don't like my buns buttered. I would also never put thousand island dressing on it. However, burgers are something I could do almost any time. I had one today at the church picnic.
