Which one would be more useful to you in the future?

I spent around 5 years learning Japanese and I liked it. Very cool language and culture. I guess it depends on which interests you more. Maybe also depends on where you live. Where I live there is not a big Japanese or Frech population so I wouldnt really be able to apply it.

Choose both of them, I'm sure if i had money I wouldn't mind having five languages per year.

I assume you only speak English right now. I think Japanese would be more beneficial then French as we do so much interaction and business with Japan.

I think you live in India, right? I had a french teacher who taught me 3 years in school. And i just know one thing which he always said that for an Indian, French is really beneficial for the future.
