Another Day Out

Mom has had her doctor appointment with the ear, nose, and throat doctor for some time. That appointment was at 10:30 this morning. Since something is wrong with her every day, she made an appointment with the regular doctor at 1:30 this afternoon. I really figured we would drive back across town and come home in between. Mom had other plans. When she came back out to the van after the first appointment, she handed me a sack lunch. She had packed us each a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a banana for lunch. She also brought along some chocolate chip cookies. She brought water for herself and I had my bottle of Dr. Pepper with me. Oh, she had other plans too....to go to the store to get my son a few groceries after the second appointment, then take them to him. There was 90 minutes left before her next appointment so I talked her into going to Aldi to get the groceries, the deliver them, then come back to the clinic. By the time she was done with the second appointment is was close enough to time for the kids to get out of school that I just headed that way to pick them up. Of course I attempted a nap once we were home. I worked in the rabadaba app the entire time we were gone until my phone went dead. The good thing is that I've never shared as many photos as I did today so that will mean more points. I got through a lot of my notifications as well. Once my phone went dead I worked on putting more yo-yo's on to the table runner. I was good and went ahead and got a set of the coasters listed in my etsy shop before coming in here. I'm so glad to be home, and that I am home for the rest of the day! The picture is one that I took last Thursday when I took mom to pick up her commodity foods. I love how this large Hibiscus (?) flower came out in the photo and wanted to share it with you all.

The hibiscus might make for some neat things on zazzle. I have some things in zazzle but have found it to be so frustrating to design there as the photos never seem to be the right size. Yes, rabababa is a social sharing app and now website. It's fun, but the way I figure it, I only made about 10 cents an hour yesterday for those hours I worked it. However, I did earn more while not on it as others looked at my stuff throughout the rest of the day.

@crazyhorseladycx Yes, there is a help that will tell you sizes needed for each of the items you are making with the image. I just find it to be a total pain and just to take too much time. I've been thinking of going in and putting some of the images I already have in my account on to fabric. I just can't see that the fabrics are a seller since they are so darn expensive (as is everything else you buy there)

It is a beautiful hibiscus. I personally would go in to her appointments so that i know exactly what is being said. I do that with my sister. It was nice of her to pack the lunch, she just did not discuss it. Smart of you to shop during the waiting time. Good use of your time. I would be very tired running in and out all the time. I am one who wants to get in and get out and like you, stay at home when it is all done.

I get exhausted just running around town.....and I'm not really running, just sitting in the van mostly LOL It's not just because of the heat though as I get the same exhausting feeling no matter what the weather is like.

It was sneaky on her part to pack them, but yes, I was glad that she did.

For us it's who has the money! That would have been nice to go down the street to a fast food place or something and just enjoy ourselves in between.

I'm getting better at finding things to take pictures of while I am out and about running others around.
