I decided to watch the movie again after my trip to Hawaii. Although the movie is based on what happened at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941, the story in the movie is fictional.
However, it’s what I call a GOOD movie and worth watching more than once. I own the movie on DVD so I can watch it whenever I want to.
Have you ever wondered how many Americans died at Pearl Harbor or how many ships were sunk, damaged or salvaged?

The movie "Australia" depicts some of the Japanese bombing of Australia. Have you seen THAT movie. One of my favorites.

@IreneVincent Yes, I have seen that one but I've forgotten a lot of it.

The Ben Affleck movie? I prefer the vastly superior From Here to Eternity.

I've seen both the Ben Affleck and From Here to Eternity. Both are good in their own way.

I've watched it a few times.
I quite like it although I think it's too long and too slow in places.

It is quite a long movie. I like "Ben Hur" It's a long movie too, but I've watched it many times as well as "Gone With The Wind" another long movie.
