Good morning. Most or some of the student are back to school. This comes in mind. What kind of education or training did you need for your job. For me it was apprentice training in Graphic arts and plate making. At that time it was about six or seven years to become a journey man. Why so long.It had to with the union. For me it was old fashioned cut and paste. We had to set it up what the people want.I never got the chance to do this job on computer.By the time.I was retired.Today is so much difference than my time. What kind of education did you get or training for your job. Studying biology for 4 years must have cost a lot of money to your parents?

@amadeo All sorts of menial jobs from warehouse and factory to finally office work. I am trained for nothing with a worthless degree.

I only took office courses in high school and did clerical work. I liked my jobs though. My son in law's mother did an apprenticeship for electrician and that became her career. I was pretty impressed because I'm scared of messing with electricity. More people should think about the apprentice training, it seems like a good deal.

@CinnamonGrl yes, this where I started.I did not like the idea of the union. But this did not last too long. The reason for this.To keep some of the people out. That is why we had seven years. They want to get their money

I studied accounting. You must be talented to have worked in graphics. Are you showing any interest now in learning how to do graphics on the computer?

@amadeo Not that many years as I became a stay at home mom and did not go back after the children were raised. So I say that I retired young.

I have a two year degree but took a lot of accounting courses. I was a bookkeeper/office manager so it came in handy.
