A Do Nothing Day

Not exactly, but with just a few things to do and most of the day home is wonderful!
I took my mom early this morning to pick up her commodity foods. On the way home I stopped at the United Way office and picked up the t-shirts for our group.
This evening I will have to pick up my oldest daughter from work and her youngest son from his group.
My oldest daughter works at Dollar Tree and it opened today. That place has to be a mad house of customers!! We have waited so long to have one here. Now if I only had some $$ to shop with. I'm sure my mom will ride along so she can check out the store when I pick her up.
I'm working on a lockerhook rug, but haven't done anything on it yet today. I'm enjoying working on it and it seems to be moving along nicely....at least until I have to stop and find the other 8 colors of fabric that I need for it.
Someone came and gave another of the kittens a forever home, so that is good news.
I listed another book for sale on half.com, finally listed a coaster set in my etsy shop, and put up some screen protectors for sale in the local buy, sell, trade group on facebook. I sure need some things to start selling.
Online I messed around way too long working on the Swago board on swagbucks. I can't do all of the squares as at least one requires a purchase and one is to get a referral. I was trying to go for the outside edges of the card. I couldn't get through any of the gold surveys to credit one corner. Then on the other side was to attempt a gold survey through the app. I attempted 3 of them and my box didn't cover. Such is life.

Do you ever try a piece of dark chocolate. It helps my husband's dry cough a lot.

@GardenGerty Really? Thanks for the info. I have dark 70% chocolate in the fridge. I brought it from Germany.

The Pampas grass looks pretty.
My day is fine, just household chores and myLotting. Vacuumed my room and Lollipop the girl parakeet has already started ripping up newspaper and throwing it over the side of the cage. Can't win lol.

I so need a day that I can feel relaxed and not stressed over what I think must be done. Maybe another reason I really need to push for this camping trip.

Loving swagbucks right now as I had 6 times in for the 150 for buying diet Dr Pepper. I sue wish I had him buy more at Walmart as it seems the deal is still good!
I also got a bonus 1000 sb for putting up a post on my blog. Both of those equal an extra $19 for the month.

@celticeagle 1 sb is 1 cent. They do offer $5 cards as well as $3 amazon.

@marsha32 .....That's great. I just mostly get the 2-6 SB's each day when they have the codes. I'm up to about 500SBs now. How much money is that. I wish I could just cash out.

glad'ja 'd a 'slow day', those're always nice. aint ne'er been to swagbucks so've nary a clue what'cher talkin' bout, lol. sorry such didn't work out better fer ya.
i bet that store 'twas hoppin'! hopefully such'll continue. we've so many dollar places that there aint much business't any these days.

@crazyhorseladycx That's what they said. Actually the one I took the picture of popped up out of nowhere where it is. I don't like that it took over my Irises and Day Lilies in that area, but I think it looks cool by the porch at the same time.

Sounds like a pretty busy thursday but glad you got things done. I had a good day at work went by quick and it was my Friday. Now it's Friday and been enjoying my day off work and mylotting while doing chores around the house.

way to go on ebay sales!
I used to list items on ebay, but stopped that a long time ago. I may have done better with the books on ebay other than most of them only going for the minimum 99 cent bid.
Always good to stock up on foods and drinks when you can.
