The tropics are red hot this week.
The National Hurricane Center is now tracking three storms headed in the general direction of Florida. It is hard to know what is going where. The tracking models look like spaghetti.
The weather reporters are saying that at the very least, we will have periods of heavy rain with possible flooding. If any of these storms somehow miss us, we will be prepared for any other storms that might hit this season.
If we lose electric or need to evacuate, I will not be on myLot. Wish us luck.
An area of disturbed weather east of Jacksonville is now Tropical Depression 8. We are still monitoring 99L as it moves over Cuba and will enter the Gulf of Mexico over the next few days, and Hurricane Gaston out in the Atlantic.

@BelleStarr Used to have one. You sell things when you need cash. I have some candles and canned food though. I am going to make a solar stove that I can take anywhere for cooking.

Please stay safe, weather has changed lately and we need to bring the things we need for survival, like medkit, food, flash lights, etc.

@teresatrotter Something major looks to be coming this way in a week or two. A lot can happen in between, of course.

Hopefully they will be wrong like they usually are. That's all I'm hoping for. Lol

@LovingMyBabies Probably not, but they broadcast all these dire warnings and then just shrug their shoulders because they don't know any better than you or I.
