Here the summer holiday for children will last nearly two months, from July to August. Many parents may feel happy when their children need to go to school after such a long break. Because finally their children will stay in the school and pay attention to the study rather than playing all the time. As to me, I can't regard it as a happy exciting thing. As it means to say that we have to wake up quite early. And there wil be exams and homework. The study pressure is not only for my child, but also parents.

I used to enjoy the summer vacations with my kids. We did fun fun things every day. We went swimming, went to the park, the library, the children's museum.

If I didn't have to work, I could also have a good time with my son everyday...

Poor parents. I am glad my grandson doesn't have homework. He is in the eighth grade this year.

The kids were back to school last Monday. I am happy that they are back to school, because they are no more around playing and making noise.

You are right to say that the study pressure is for both the children and the parents because the schools offer a lot of school activities for parents as well. That is why many Chinese parents say that they are now studying in the primary schools again or such. But anyway, presure is pressure. We can make that pressure to become the marching force of both parents and children. On the contrary, it makes us re-study from the pressure given the children's school teachers. If we think so, everything is nice and ok.

Most parents do feel sad when they miss their children after the vacation. I do not have children, but I have seen my friends becoming gloomy when their children goes to school after vacation.

My son still goes to home after school, so it is not a problem that I can't see him in daytime. After all, I have to work, too.
