Do You Check Your Earnings From Discussions

I don't pay all that much attention to the earnings as a whole, but I find I am quite fascinated by the daily earnings. I am not a top earned here and that is understandable but when I look at my daily breakdown I can really see how much being active on the site affects earnings.
My days range from a top around 75 cents to a low of 2 or 3 cents. Yes, I missed quite a few days completely and never got a zero total, thanks to my friends and followers on the site.

Do you look at your daily earnings total or is it all about the bottom line for you? As I said, as long as I go over the payout amount, the actually totally is just that, the total. I like to see the daily totals myself.

I don't earn that much every day many days it much lower die to my either not being on or being on for a very limited amount of time.

I like to check my earnings in the morning and a few times throughout the day. When I make money while I sleep, even if it is only 10 or 20 cents..it is fun..still money right?

I think sometimes a post is so popular that it earns as much the next day than it did on the day it was created. This one has grown like crazy for me lol

@BelleStarr That bears out my belief that it's much better to leave some time between posts - let the latest one garner all the traffic that it's going to before posting another one.

No it is a bush, a very pretty and prolific bush, it is too cold up here in the frozen north for hibiscus I think lol

My three bushes have grown rather too big, they are dumping flowers on my deck and in the pool. I plan to cut them back this fall to see if they will get wider instead of taller.

There certainly are big swings in earning day to day but it seems mostly to be related to activity.

I'll usually glance at it at the end of every month. Currently, my high this month is $1.01, and my low is $.04. For the most part, I just concentrate on the bottom line, but it's nice to look at the breakdown every now and then and see how each day is going.

@BelleStarr I know when I'm having bad "earning" days on this site, so usually that will motivate me to do better and engage more! It usually does the trick!

How do you know you aren't a top earner? There's no ranking list here that I know of. I do frequently check earnings as it's fun and a game to see how I am doing.

People talk about their earnings, I have only made a $1 in a day once or twice. I have never made $20 or $30 a month or more. No I am not a top earner lol but I am not complaining.

@BelleStarr I read what other people say they earn and I think what am I doing wrong? But the best approach is do what you want and ces't la vie.

I always check out my daily earnings for the day before as soon as I log in in the morning. I like to look and see how each day compares with the other. My earning are anywhere from low 20s to mid 60s.

I check several times a day, even when I'm not posting. I'm impressed with your earnings! I'm sporadic in my posting and interacting, so I don't earn that much. Also, I've noticed if my posts don't land in "interesting discussions", I don't earn much. I write mostly political posts and every one managed to land on the "interesting" site. Now they aren't. Does anyone know if there's a ban on political topics making it to the "interesting discussions" section?

@BelleStarr Actually, every one of my political posts went immediately to "interesting" before any likes or comments and that made a significant difference in my earnings. My last two political posts haven't. Many political posts made it to "interesting, not just mine. I'm thinking maybe myLot is trying to get away from the political posts and give other posts a better chance??
