Lying doesn't do any body any good. I remember the wondering why he wasn't there yet. I go by his house and he is walking his ex to her car. Hmm. That was the last time I waited for him. Bye

The liar in my life has her excuses: "I get confused". "I do not see things the same as others", "I cannot stand a boring story", "Sometimes things sound different to me", but a lie is a lie.

Lying doesn't do anyone any good, that is the truth for sure.
I live with a habitual liar.....and he's not my first husband that was one. I guess there is a name for his type of lying and it's narcism or something like that. a narcicist? Someone who has to make things up to boost their own ego...they have the need to feel the most important all the time.
Of course that's not the same type of lying you are talking about in your post, just brought out those thoughts for me.

You are right. I live with a narcissist too. Sometimes I know the story is a lie and am embarrassed for her. Self centered.
