Online Writing Site: Daily Two Cents

Daily Two Cents was started a couple of years ago by two ladies who had enough of writing for other sites and decided to do their own thing. Their “thing” has been very successful and now they have several writing sites. What I liked about it was you earned money for each unique view and the cash out was $5. Also, you could write short posts; minimum of 150 words. Later they changed to 200 words and switched from PPV (Pay Per View) to Google Ad Sense revenue-share plan. They also made some other changes in an attempt to make the site more SEO friendly. That's good but as a result of the changes I have to go back and “fix stuff”. This project has been on my To Do List for a while. Can't keep putting it off so I am now workin' on it! In between checking on discussions here at myLot. Daily Two Cents is a site that can be used to create a residual income stream. Any writers here for Daily Two Cents?

I think I heard about it once but didn't go through with joining. I don't really have time for a second site. Creating a residual income stream is enticing as you can't do that here.

When they first started, I was happy to jump on board. The idea of short posts generating income appealed to me. As time went on, so many other sites popped up that I wanted to try and I couldn't devote time to all of them. DTC went to the bottom of the list. That's why most of my posts are dated 2014 and 2015. Also, I don't get many comments so the interaction there is not as fulfilling as at other sites.

I heard of it before but I didn't join. I am not confident with my writing skills If I am not mistaken the two ladies were my good Bubblews connections.

My posts date back to 2014 and 2015. I just recently published 2 posts because I had thoughts in my head and thought that site was the best place for them. It was an opinion piece. My other post was an effort to update some of my previous posts that no longer had current information.
