I planted some seeds today. Virtual ones. The neighbor girl and her mom came over. Neighbor girl is 17 and very smart, sweet, and talented. Together my partner and I showed her our art, looked at hers, gave some words of encouragement, and gave her two manga pens and a pocket sized sketch book to start off with. Seeds planted! I also took my first real steps toward monetizing my blog. I signed up as an affiliate with my absolute favorite art supply store in the whole wide world. They are really great and offer awesome value. Then I wrote a post about an art material they sell, included some art done with it, and added my affiliate link. I can get up to ten percent of what people buy, using my link. Seeds planted! Soon I'll be making more images for Pixabay - and updating my coloring book listing on Etsy now that it's finally done. More seeds planted! Guess what? I'm most proud of the first one.
