No space anymore.

I go to the hospital on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays before 6:45 AM. I usually arrive there at 6:35 AM with hopes that the space where I park the car is vacant. But nay! As early as 6:30 AM, the parking area is full of these cars. I thought almost all employees of the hospital are already with cars. Why, even a Nursing Aide has the Mitsubishi Montero, or Fortuner, or Hyundai. Big cars, and they seem to be displaying their cars. They stop in front of the lobby and have their bio-metrics for timing-in. The car of my big brother is just an old blue Toyota Corona, manual steering car, but it serves its purpose to date. Twice, I parked the car outside the parking space. Of course I did not pay P20 for the parking fee. I hope there will be a space for me tomorrow when I go for my duty. Where do you park your car?

Cars nowadays in the Philippines sell like hotcakes. Even ordinary employees can already able to purchase because of its low down payment and monthly payments. That's why, very heavy traffic is now happening here in almost all areas. Parking spaces are always full too.

@magallon the car of my brother that i am driving is an old model. the advantage of having an old car is that it is no longer a carnapping issue; who wants to carnap an old car?

When I go to the shop, I often purposely park quite a way so I can get some walking done...

@ridingbet It would still be within the shopping center's parking area, just not the nearest spot to the entrance...

We don't often go to the city but we have to pay for parking there. Sometimes it can be quite expensive.

@ridingbet Yes, it's safe. We lock the car if we are in the city. It's not a big city compared to some.

that is good, but is it safe and secure to park the car beside the stores when you are going to buy and leave and come back to your car quickly?

No parking space! That is also my problem when I visited my niece who gave birth. I hope hospitals will have more spacious parking spaces.

@ridingbet It is a must and it must be free parking fee unlike one very big and expensive hospital that I know that even charge parking fee on an hourly basis.

that is true. hospitals should have bigger parking areas because visitors and personnel alike may have their own private transport

@salonga the parking space in our hospital should be paid by the motorists with P20. although our institution is small, i believe there are so many cars owned by the personnel and the residents too.

That is something pretty horrible here. If there is no assigned parking place, I prefer to take my two wheeler there.

I guess with everyone taking out the cars there is less space for parking.. I wish more people would use the public transport .. we could also have less pollution and more parking space.

but here in my place, what causes the traffic is the too many public transports, and they are even the ones causing the traffic. it is usually a bumper-to-=bumper scenario especially during Sundays

Parking can be a real pain, especially if you need to park near your work. Is it a designated area for staff, or is it for the public too?

As far away as I can from everybody else. I have no problem walking across a parking lot. I am amazed at how smash in on top of each other some of those parking spots are. So I park in the last spot in the roll. I hate having to do the side step to get out of my vehicle. You would think they would know you have a parking problem and fix the issue.

the place where i park is also free supposedly from those cars who cross my way. but that day, my space had 4 cars, so i had to park near the gate and although there were tricycles parked in front, i sought assistance from a security guard so i can bring the car out of the messy parking space

Parking space costs a lot here so people opt to commute. But I remember the location of your school. Yes you need a car.

My brother-in-law too , would always want to be early at work because of the parking space . Most of the employee even some security guards already have cars that's why the parking space is always filled . And they also have to allot some space to very valued clients .

At home we park the car in our closed garage. When we go out in the parking lots available near the place where we have to go. When we go to the hospital, there is a big underground parking space for the visitors and one separate for the doctors and nurses.

that is great. the parking area in the hospital is so small and when the big cars park, it has so little space to maneuver the car. doctors and nurses and other hospital workers all park in the same area

we also ride on public transportation when we imagine the city to be traffic, or i can just ride on a public utility vehicle going to the hospital once i know that the way going to my work place has detours or close traffic.
